Executive Summary

I am a business development and partnerships leader specializing in Japan-focused travel experiences, with a proven track record of revenue growth, market education, and relationship-based sales in complex, high-touch environments.

Since launching my Japan-focused travel business in 2022, I have generated $825,000 in annual sales for 2025 travel and approximately $1.8M in lifetime revenue. My work centers on translating deep destination expertise and cultural nuance into commercially successful travel programs, advisor education, and long-term partnerships.

Current Role & Commercial Impact

I founded and scaled Amy Plans Your Magic as a highly specialized Japan travel business focused on custom, high-value itineraries and consultative sales. The business operates as both a revenue-generating enterprise and an education platform within the travel industry.

My work emphasizes long-lead, trust-based sales, destination education, and strategic positioning rather than volume-driven transactions. I work closely with clients and advisors who require deep expertise, thoughtful pacing, and culturally informed guidance.

Key commercial outcomes include:

  • $825,000 in booked sales for 2025 travel

  • $1.8M in lifetime revenue since launch

  • Development of a recognized Japan travel niche within Travelmation

  • Leadership of a small team of independent contractor travel advisors

Leadership & Industry Impact

In addition to client-facing work, I play an active role in advisor education and industry leadership.

In response to the discontinuation of the JNTO certification program, I created a comprehensive Japan-focused masterclass and social media-based advisor community to support U.S. and Canadian travel advisors seeking responsible, high-standard Japan education.

I have led multiple Japan-focused trainings for Travelmation advisors, helping agents build confidence in planning, pricing, and positioning complex Japan itineraries. I am also the creator and instructor of a paid Japan travel masterclass designed to teach advisors how to sell Japan responsibly and profitably.

I planned and led a Japan familiarization (FAM) trip with 12 total participants, including travel advisors and guests, overseeing itinerary design, logistics, education, and on-the-ground execution.

Through these initiatives, I regularly serve as a resource to advisors and partners seeking destination expertise, strategic guidance, and market insight.
